The IFRS Foundation Monitoring Board (Monitoring Board) welcomes the developments over the past two years in the area of sustainability-related disclosure by the IFRS Foundation and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). The issuance of the inaugural standards on climate-related disclosures (IFRS S2) and general requirements for disclosure of sustainability-related financial information (IFRS S1) by the ISSB (“ISSB Standards”), 1 and the subsequent endorsement by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), 2 mark an important milestone, achieved within a short timeframe to develop a global framework in the area of sustainability reporting focused on investor needs.

The DFSA Waives Regulatory Fees On ESG Listings On Nasdaq Dubai

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) announced it will waive all regulatory fees for issuers wishing to list sustainability-related debt securities in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) throughout 2024. This fee waiver is effective immediately and will apply throughout 2024.

A total of four awards were granted to the teams with outstanding solutions. ESG EZ Invest team, comprising engineers and analysts from two listed companies and the leading consulting firms, was awarded the first prize, with the proposed idea of an application development based on data of SET ESG data platform for better access to sustainable investing.
