The Commission has denied the Petition for Rulemaking filed on behalf of Coinbase Global, Inc. (“Petitioner”) on July 21, 2022. We disagree with the Commission’s decision.

ACER publishes today its report on Poland’s proposed gas transmission tariffs for the Transit Gas Pipeline System (TGPS). In its report, ACER provides recommendations to the Polish national regulatory authority, URE, in relation to the tariff methodology applicable for this transmission network.

Today, the Commission denied a Petition for Rulemaking[1] filed on behalf of Coinbase Global, Inc. I was pleased to support the Commission’s decision for three reasons. First, existing laws and regulations apply to the crypto securities markets. Second, the SEC addresses the crypto securities markets through rulemaking as well. Third, it is important to maintain Commission discretion in setting its own rulemaking priorities.

Bank Of England - Asset Purchase Facility: Gilt Sales – Market Notice 15 December 2023

At its September 2023 meeting, the MPC voted to reduce the stock of gilts held in the APF for monetary policy purposes by £100 billion over the period from October 2023 to September 2024, to a total of £658 billion. The Bank set out in the consolidated APF gilt sales Market Notice published on 1 September 2022 that it would publish a quarterly schedule for the sales of gilts held in the APF for monetary policy purposes. The details and schedule for the Q1 2024 sales of such gilts are set out in this Market Notice which covers the period from 8 January 2024 to the week commencing 25 March 2024.
