SGX And China Financial Futures Exchange Collaborate To Develop Derivatives Markets

Singapore Exchange (SGX) and China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in the development of the derivatives markets in China and Singapore. The agreement was signed in Beijing, China, between Mr Rong Zhiping, Deputy CEO of CFFEX and Mr Magnus Böcker, CEO of SGX.

This is due to the comprehensive discussions REGIS-TR has been involved in with ESMA in order to verify the compliance, accuracy and completeness of its business offer. Consequently, it is confident it will obtain the license in the minimum period stipulated by the regulation and that ESMA is expected to start granting licenses from 25 June.
