Direct Edge Trading Notice #13-17: Fee Schedule Changes Effective May 1, 2013

Effective Wednesday, May 1, 2013, Direct Edge^® will introduce the following updates to the BY and RY Flags on EDGA Exchange (EDGA^®) and EDGX Exchange (EDGX^®), pending filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  There will be no changes to securities trading below $1.00.    

SIX Exchange Regulation: Addendum To Stock Exchange Act – Reporting Obligation For Shareholdings In Foreign Companies

The amended Stock Exchange Act and amended Stock Exchange Ordinance will come into effect on 1 May 2013. From now on, the provisions outlined in this stock exchange legislation governing the disclosure of shareholdings will also apply to companies domiciled abroad whose equity securities have their main listing at least in part on a Swiss stock exchange.

Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting: BME To Distribute €81 Million To Its Shareholders

• The General Meeting of BME agrees to distribute a final dividend, refund contributions to its shareholders and distribute an extraordinary dividend

• BME posted a net profit of €33 million in the first quarter 2013
• In the first quarter, BME ranks 2^nd in Europe and 5^th in the world by investment flows channelled to companies, at over $10 billion

S&P BSE 500 Shariah First Index Launched By Bombay Stock Exchange And S&P Dow Jones Indices Strategic Partnership

BSE and S&P Dow Jones Indices announced today the launch of the S&P BSE 500 Shariah index, the first new index resulting from the strategic partnership formed between the two companies in February of this year.
