BATS Chi-X Europe today announced plans to launch its pan-European listings business and iShares ®, the exchange-traded funds (ETF) platform of BlackRock (NYSE: BLK), will become the first issuer to list on the Regulated Market segment of the exchange.

ADX Inks Registrar Agreement With Manazel Real Estate

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Manazel Real Estate concluded a Registrar Agreement at the ADX Headquarters. The agreement was signed by Mr. Rashed Al Baloushi, CEO of ADX, and Mr. Mohammed Muhanna Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Manazel Real Estate.

China Consumer Indicator Rises To 92.4 In September - Led By Improvement In Personal Finances

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- The DJ-UBS Commodity Index was negative for the month, down 2.6%, driving YTD returns down to 8.6%.
- Among subindices in the energy sector, unleaded gasoline declined the furthest, down 7.9%
- Grains were down 3.7% MTD, mainly due to corn’s underperformance.
- The industrial metals were up 1.6% for the month, with copper carrying the sector.

S&P GSCI Commodities Indices Performance In September 2013

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- The GSCI was down 3.4% for the month, with three out of five sectors posting negative returns.
- Despite losing 4.5% on the month, S&P GSCI Energy is up 3.8% for the year.
- Grains were down 2.9% in September mainly due to corn’s 8.4% loss.
- The S&P GSCI Precious Metals was the weakest sector in September, returning -5.3%.
