NYSE Euronext Launches EnterNext® In Brussels

NYSE Euronext (NYX) officially launched EnterNext® in Brussels today. This new subsidiary is a dedicated marketplace for SMEs. With a bold strategy and a NYSE Euronext proven capacity to deliver, EnterNext® has been designed to facilitate the financing requirements and development of SMEs that operate regionally, nationally and internationally. The aim of the initiative is to make financing through the equity market attractive to SMEs by involving all stakeholders of the Brussels marketplace.

Thai Bourse Average Derivatives Trading Surges 79% In First Half Of 2013

The Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), reported a 79.5 percent year-on-year increase in average daily trading volume to 78,650 contracts per day, equal to an average daily trading value of THB 30.56 billion (approx. USD 1.02 billion), during the first six months of 2013 due to rising popularity of stock futures. Also, ten underlying stocks will be added to the stock futures offered on July 15. During the second half of the year, TFEX will expand its investor base by improving services and boosting liquidity of its USD futures and SET50 options.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange June 2013 Volume Averaged 118,959 Contracts Per Day, Up 8.3%

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) announced today that June 2013 trading volume averaged 118,959 contracts per day, up 8.3% from May 2013. Average daily volume increased thanks to gains in commodities such as Platinum, which was up 24.7% to 19,974 contracts, Crude Oil, which was up 10.5% to 4,545 contracts and Corn, which was up 56.3% to 2,076 contracts.
