    The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has formulated the “SSE Guidance (Draft) for Operation of Audit Committees under Listed Companies’ Directorates” (the “Guidance for Operation” for short, see Attachment 1), the Remarks on Drawing up the “Guidance for Operation” (see Attachment 2), and the Remarks on Significant Issues for Soliciting Public Opinions (see Attachment 3), in order to propel the corporate governance of listed companies and standardize the operation of audit committees under listed companies’ directorates. And the SSE hereby solicits opinions from the public.

    The FSB Regional Consultative Group for Asia held its fifth meeting on 30 October in Tokyo, Japan. The group is co-chaired by Mr Masamichi Kono, Vice Commissioner for International Affairs at the Financial Services Agency of Japna and Mr Amando Tetangco, Governor, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Membership includes financial authorities from Australia, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
