The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) have today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will serve to deepen and enhance the existing cooperation between the two stock exchanges.

Dalian Commodity Exchange: Orienting Designing Of “Two Boards” Futures Contracts Toward Spots

Recently, an official of the agricultural products business division of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) said in an interview that in the process of researching the futures of the “two boards”, China’s first futures products in the forestry sector, DCE has conducted extensive survey and research on the basis of the principle of serving the real economy and reflecting the demand in spots, in accordance with requirements in production process and with respect for the spot trade practices, thus having designed the fiberboard and the plywood futures contracts by taking the opinions of producers and scientific research institutions into consideration.

SRI Index Encourages Companies To Improve Transparency - JSE’s 2013 SRI Index Annual Review Results

The number of companies fulfilling the requirements to be part of the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) index fell to 72 in 2013 (2012: 76), as the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) continued to raise the bar for index constituents. To improve corporate transparency, only publicly available information was considered in the JSE’s 9th annual SRI Index review; up to last year, companies could submit data that was not publicly available.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Divisions of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight (DSIO), Clearing and Risk, and Market Oversight (collectively, the Divisions) issued a time-limited no-action letter today that provides relief to swap dealers (SDs) registered with the CFTC that are established under the laws of jurisdictions other than the United States (Non-U.S. SDs) from certain transaction-level requirements under the Commodity Exchange Act.
