Oslo Børs: Delta - Millennium Exchange: T+2 – The Last Market Wide Test For The New Settlement Cycle – Test Plan And Participation

In regards to Oslo Børs VPS migrating from a T+3 to a T+2 settlement cycle for the Norwegian market 6 October 2014, the last market wide test will be held Monday 18 August 2014. The market wide test is not mandatory, but Oslo Børs VPS encourages all members, market data vendors and third party providers to participate.

Below are key highlights for the week ending 1 August 2014 (please click on the attachment for further detail):
- The SFI lost 0.22% to 118.16.
- YTD, the STI currently outperforms the SFI by 2.88%.
- The SFI Government Bond Index declined (-0.35%), leading to an overall loss in the SFI.
- Conversely, the SFI Corporate Bond Index remained relatively flat (-0.02%).
- Five issuances (~S$1.4B in market value) were added to the SFI in the latest index rebalance.

ASIC: Credit Suisse AG Pays $88,400 Infringement Notice Penalty

Credit Suisse AG ("Credit Suisse") has paid a penalty of $88,400 to comply with an infringement notice given to it by the Markets Disciplinary Panel ("MDP"). The penalty was for:
- offering and allocating an Error Trade to a Client in circumstances where that Trade had not been obtained under instructions previously obtained from that Client;
- acting in a manner which had a detrimental effect on that Client's best interests; and
- failing to maintain a separate record of that Error Trade.
