ACER: Updated Gas Target Model Launch Event To Take Place In Charlemagne

The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) is pleased to confirm the location of the ACER workshop on the launch of the updated Gas Target Model on Friday, 16 January 2015. It will take place in Brussels at the Charlemagne Building of the European Commission, Jenkins Room, Wetstraat 170 Rue de la Loi. Likewise we are happy to confirm that the event will be web streamed. ESMA Submits Advice On Delegated Acts Required By The UCITS V Directive

On 3 July 2014 ESMA received a provisional request from the European Commission for technical advice on the content of two of the delegated acts on depositaries required by UCITS V. ESMA published a consultation paper on 26 September setting out the draft technical advice on those delegated acts. That consultation closed on 24 October. This report sets out ESMA’s final advice to the Commission in light of the feedback from stakeholders.

TOCOM Night Session Volume Accounted 48.8% In November - Record High Proportion

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange announced today that the trading volume from the night sessions during the month of November 2014 accounted for 48.8% (with 1,166,630 contracts) of the total monthly volume renewing the largest proportion since the launch of the night session in May 2009.

HKEx: Listing Nominating Committee Reminder Of Application Period For Listing Committee Candidates

The Listing Nominating Committee reminds potential applicants that the period for submitting applications for nomination to the Listing Committee will close on 12 December 2014.  As announced on 4 November 2014, the Listing Nominating Committee is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on the Listing Committee and the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Listing Committee1.  Appointments will be for a term of approximately twelve months commencing in May/June 2015.  In previous years the Listing Nominating Committee invited applications in the first quarter of the year.  For the appointments to be made in 2015 the Listing Nominating Committee intends to interview short-listed candidates before making appointments and consequently it is necessary to begin the application process earlier.
