Platts China Steel Sentiment Index Rebounded Strongly In August - Domestic Demand, Prices Increased On Restocking Ahead Of Victory Day Parade In Beijing

The outlook for new steel orders and steel prices in China rebounded strongly in August on the back of improved expectations for domestic demand over the next month, according to the latest Platts China Steel Sentiment Index (Platts CSSI), which showed a headline reading of 55.1 out of a possible 100 points in August.

CBOE Holdings Completes Acquisition Of Livevol Data, Analytics Platforms

(NASDAQ: CBOE) announced today that it has finalized the acquisition of the market data services and trading analytics platforms of Livevol, Inc., a leading provider of equity and index options technology and market data services to professional and retail traders, effective August 7. BOX Options Exchange Price Improvement Activity For July

In the month of July, price improved contracts on BOX Options Exchange (“BOX”) averaged 255,150 per day. Price improvement versus the prevailing NBBO for contracts submitted via BOX’s price improvement auction, PIP, averaged $538,457 per day, while total savings to investors in July was $11.86M. With this, BOX has saved investors over $650M since its inception in 2004. Overall average daily trading volume on BOX in the month of July was 407,728 contracts.
