2. I would characterise the situation facing the global economy as one facing more frequent shocks and persistent uncertainty, buffered by a measure of resilience in the system and an ability to adapt, but building up risks that could damage the global financial and monetary system in the future.

ASIC Successful In High Court Block Earner Appeal

In an appeal brought by ASIC, the High Court has unanimously found that the fixed-yield digital asset product ‘Earner’ offered by Block Earner was a financial product, and that Block Earner consequently required an Australian financial services licence.

To implement the China Securities Regulatory Commission's Opinions on Adding a Science and Technology Innovation Growth Tier on the STAR Market to Enhance Institutional Inclusiveness and Adaptability, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "SSE") today officially released the Guidelines No. 10 of Shanghai Stock Exchange for the Application of Listing Review Rules — Application of the Fifth Set of Listing Standards on the STAR Market for Artificial Intelligence Large Model Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as these "Guidelines").

Well-known movie producer Mr Wong Pak Ming, convicted in an insider dealing prosecution brought by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), began serving his five-month custodial sentence with immediate effect. This came after the court today revoked the bail previously granted to Wong at his own request.
