Xetra Turnover Up 29 Percent In June 16 Million Trades Executed On Xetra - Total Volume Of 122.5 Billion Euros Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In June, 111.4 billion euros were traded on Xetra and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – an increase of 27 percent year-on-year (June 2009: 87.9 billion euros). Of the 111.4 billion euros, 105.5 billion euros were traded on Xetra, an increase of 29 percent year-on-year (June 2009: 81.7 billion euros). 5.9 billion euros were traded on the floor, a slight decrease by 5 percent (June 2009: 6.2 billion euros).

Average Daily Volume Of 10.9 Million Contracts At Eurex And ISE In June - Eurex Monthly Trading Volume Rose By 25 Percent Y-O-Y

Boerse Stuttgart Reports Turnover Of 6.9 Billion In June - Summer Lull And Football World Cup Lead To Lower Trading Volumes In A Number Of Asset Classes - Turnover Up In Bond Trading
In June 2010, Boerse Stuttgart had a turnover of some EUR 6.9 billion according to its order book statistics. Due to the Football World Cup and the traditional summer lull, trading volumes were down on the previous month's figures, as was expected. Growth came from investors' enthusiasm for bond trading at the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. In comparison with the previous month, turnover grew by 8 percent to nearly EUR 1.9 billion. Johannesburg Stock Exchange Launches FTSE/JSE Equally Weighted Top 40 Index
Today the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and global index provider FTSE Group (FTSE) announce the launch of the FTSE/JSE Equally Weighted Top 40 Index. The new index adds to the existing FTSE JSE Index Series, providing an alternative to indices constructed according to the market values of the companies (or market capitalisation weightings). It is also the first equally weighted index to be launched in South Africa within the FTSE/JSE Index Series.

DGCX Volume Hits All-Time Monthly High In June - Volume Scales A New Monthly High In June At 192,138 Contracts - June Also Sees The Highest Ever Monthly Volume For Indian Rupee/Dollar Futures At 12,159 Contracts
Total volume on Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) rose to an all-time high in June at 192,138 contracts, surpassing the previous peak achieved in November 2009. The strong activity was led by significant increases in volume across all product suites - precious metals, currencies and crude oil. Month-on-month volume rose by 24% for gold, 95% for Euro/Dollar, 40% for INR and 187% for WTI futures.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) today said exchange traded funds (ETFs) trading grew 33% in FY2010 while the number of ETFs doubled.
