Record in no of trades in share trading Also May saw a record in number of trades for the share trading at the Nordic Exchange. Record figures in number of trades were recorded for the month, reaching 382,647 trades per day (previous record: 315,172 trades per day in April, 2010).

ECX Monthly Report And EUA & CER Exchanges Volumes - May 2010
Volatility continued to drive excellent Trading Volumes on ECX during May – a total of 691,457 contracts traded representing an average of 34,572 per day and a year-on-year increase of 60%. May set a record in EUA screen-traded futures (see chart 2) with an average of 18,633 contracts trading per day.

BATS Europe released the BATS+ Primary routing strategy, providing participants with competitive pricing for access to primary markets via the BATS Europe Smart Order Router (SOR). Dubai Mercantile Exchange Celebrates Third Anniversary - Daily Trading Up 130% Since 2008 With New Contracts Planned For 2010
1st June, 2010: The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) marked its third anniversary today with the announcement that average daily trading of its flagship DME Oman Crude Oil Futures Contract (DME Oman) has increased by 130% since 2008, averaging 2,955 lots since the start of 2010, equivalent to around 3 million barrels of oil traded daily.
