  • Notice On Releasing Guidelines No. 14 Of Shanghai Stock Exchange For Self-Regulation Of Listed Companies - Sustainability Report (Trial)

    To further implement the spirit of the Central Financial Work Conference and the requirements of policy papers including State Council's Opinions on Enhancing Supervision and Risk Prevention to Promote the High Quality Development of the Capital Market and the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s Opinions on Enhancing the Supervision of Listed Companies (Trial), with the aim to promote listed companies’ high quality development and investment value enhancement and regulate their disclosure of sustainability information, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (“SSE”) has formulated the Guidelines No. 14 of Shanghai Stock Exchange for Self-Regulation of Listed Companies—Sustainability Report (Trial) (see annex) (“Guidelines”). The Guidelines apply to companies listed on main board and the STAR market. The Guidelines are hereby released and shall take effect since May 1st, 2024.

    Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2404, IH2404, IC2404, IO2404(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in April 2024), IM2404,MO2404(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in April 2024),and HO2404(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in April 2024) is April 19, 2024.

    1.   In the January 2024 Monetary Policy Statement (MPS), MAS maintained the rate of appreciation of the Singapore dollar nominal effective exchange rate (S$NEER) policy band, with no change to the width of the band or level at which it was centred. Since then, the S$NEER has continued to strengthen in the upper half of the appreciating policy band.
