    JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC, a leading institutional equity block trading and execution firm based in the United States announced today that it is expanding into pan-Asian trading. In addition to Asia markets already covered for U.S.-based institutions, the firm will now trade equity instruments in virtually all Asian markets on behalf of local and U.S. institutional clients, using its relationship based model. JonesTrading will now cover Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Japan, as well as Japanese clients trading U.S.

  • Moscow Exchange Sold Its Remaining Stake In Ukrainian Exchange

    Moscow Exchange (MOEX) completed its exit from Ukrainian Exchange by selling its remaining 23.09% stake in the company. In February, MOEX sold 19.9% of Ukrainian Exchange. 

  • SEC: Anthony Kelly Named Co-Chief Of Asset Management Unit

    The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Anthony S. Kelly has been named Co-Chief of the Enforcement Division’s Asset Management Unit, which focuses on misconduct by investment advisers, investment companies, and private funds.  He joins Marshall Sprung as Co-Chief of the unit and succeeds Julie Riewe, who left the agency last month.

  • EBA Issues Revised List Of ITS Validation Rules

    The European Banking Authority (EBA) issued today a revised list of validation rules in its Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on supervisory reporting, highlighting those which have been deactivated either for incorrectness or for triggering IT problems. Competent Authorities throughout the EU are informed that data submitted in accordance with these ITS should not be formally validated against the set of deactivated rules.
