Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today announced that his office has filed a lawsuit against a Binghamton-area woman for allegedly pocketing a portion of proceeds raised via a GoFundMe.com charitable campaign. Meghan Terry, of Endicott, NY, began a GoFundMe fundraising campaign last year to raise money for a scholarship fund established in the name of Collin Murray, a Binghamton area resident who tragically died in 2015 while attending SUNY Brockport. The lawsuit alleges that Ms. Terry raised almost $2,600, after expenses, but only turned over $1,330 for the scholarship fund.

Unscheduled Adjustment In DAX - Share Class Of Deutsche Börse AG To Be Replaced -Changes To Be Effective As Of 18 July 2016

On Wednesday, Deutsche Börse announced an unscheduled change to DAX. As a result of the expected merger of Deutsche Börse AG and London Stock Exchange plc, the Deutsche Börse AG current share class (ISIN DE0005810055) in the index will be replaced with the tendered share class of Deutsche Börse AG (ISIN DE000A2AA253). These changes will become effective on 18 July 2016.

SIFMA Supports Administration's Treatment Of Data Localization In Trade And Investment Agreements - Urges Passage Of TPP

SIFMA today issued the following statement from Kenneth E. Bentsen, Jr., SIFMA president and CEO in support of the Administration's treatment of data localization in trade and investment agreements and urges passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP):
"SIFMA appreciates the constructive efforts of the Treasury Department and USTR to address our concerns regarding data transfer and localization provisions through enforceable commitments in trade and investment agreements. The new policy approach puts financial services firms on equal footing with other sectors who also depend on the free flow of data and server localization flexibility to run their global operations. We also commend Congress for engaging in this dialogue to advance the policy."
