  • Readout From A US Treasury Spokesperson On Secretary Mnuchin’s Meeting With German Minister Of Finance Wolfgang Schauble

    Earlier today, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schauble of Germany. Secretary Mnuchin and Minister Schauble discussed further collaboration on shared economic interests between the United States and Germany, as well as multilateral economic and finance issues involving Germany's G-20 presidency. Secretary Mnuchin stressed the importance of the EU and UK maintaining a robust economic and financial relationship. Secretary Mnuchin also underscored the importance of working together to address the threats posed by North Korea.
