    The Market Misconduct Tribunal (MMT) has found that Mr Andrew Left of Citron Research disclosed false or misleading information inducing transactions and so engaged in market misconduct under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) following proceedings brought by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

    Recently, in order to promote the preparatory work for Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Program (hereinafter referred to as “The Program”), Fang Xinghai, the Vice Chairman of CSRC and concurrently the Leader of Special Work Team for Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Program of China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”), chaired a symposium of the Program in Shenzhen, at which he listened to the preparatory work progress report and opinions from Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”), Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKEx”), China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. (“CSDC”) and some securities companies, and carried out deployment for relevant work, so as to ensure the up and running of the Program in the year.

    Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) issued three guiding documents on delivery of corn starch futures on the 19th, including the “Delivery Business Guide for the Designated Delivery Warehouses of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)”, the “Delivery Business Guide for the Designated Quality Inspection Institutions of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)” and the “Delivery Business Guide for the Members and Clients of the Corn Starch Futures (2016 Version)”. It is learnt that the series of guides sort out and integrate the rules related to the delivery business into a one-volume edition, solving the current problem that the market participants had to consult the different business rules in which the requirements for the delivery business are scattered so as to fully understand the delivery business.
