  • Temporary Closure Of 10 Finsbury Square - Invocation Of LME And LME Clear Business Continuity Plan Arrangements

    A structural issue within the building which houses the LME premises in London was discovered on Saturday 16 July 2016 on a higher floor. The structural issue does not involve the LME premises but, as a precaution, the landlord has temporarily closed access to the whole building. The landlord, building manager, structural engineer and other relevant parties are now working to establish the extent of the issue, its implications and its resolution.

    The FCA has today published the second set of data showing the lowest interest rates offered by 32 providers of easy access cash savings accounts and easy access cash ISAs. The data is part of the FCA’s ‘sunlight remedy’, which shines a light on firms’ strategies towards their long-standing customers. The data shows that some accounts pay as little as 0.01 per cent.
