The agenda for the meeting consisted of introduction of new member representatives,  the activities carried out by the members in recent period, evaluation of latest national and international developments in the field of sustainability, works and studies on integrated reporting.

European Banking Authority CRDIV-CRR/Basel III Monitoring Exercise Shows Further Improvement Of EU Banks Capital Leverage And Liquidity Ratios

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today its thirteenth Report of the CRDIV-CRR/Basel III monitoring exercise on the European banking system. This exercise presents aggregate data on EU banks' capital, leverage, and liquidity ratios assuming full implementation of the CRD IV-CRR/Basel III framework. Overall, the results, based on data as of 30 June 2017, show a further improvement of European banks' capital positions, with a total average Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio of 13.8% (13.4% as of 31 December 2016). This exercise does not reflect any BCBS standards agreed since the beginning of 2016 or any other measures currently being considered by the BCBS.

Vienna Stock Exchange: AT&S And FACC To Join Leading Index ATX As Of 19 March 2018

The following adjustment will be made to the composition of the Austrian leading index ATXafter today's review according to the index rules: The leading global manufacturer, which supplies the aviation industry with lightweight components, FACC AG will be joining ATX for the first time since it became exchange-listed. The Styrian semi-conductor manufacturer, AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG, which has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since the spring of 2008, will join the ATX index for the second time. The sugar, starch and fruit manufacturer, AGRANA BETEILIGUNGS-AG and the international lightning group Zumtobel Group AG will be removed from the leading index. Apart from these changes to the index composition, there were no adjustments to the free float factors. The new index composition of the ATX will take effect as of Monday, 19 March 2018.

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI), the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Financial Stability Board (FSB) welcome the Correspondent Banking Due Diligence Questionnairerecently published by the Wolfsberg Group, as one of the industry initiatives that will help to address the decline in the number of correspondent banking relationships by facilitating due diligence processes. The questionnaire aims to standardise the collection of information that correspondent banks ask from other banks when opening and maintaining these relationships, such as their ownership, the products and services they offer and their programmes for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) as well as compliance with sanction regimes and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) programmes. The questionnaire is also part of a cooperative effort by the public and private sectors to recognise Know-Your-Customer (KYC) utilities as an effective and efficient tool to support due diligence processes.

Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer: Producer Sentiment Higher - NAFTA Uncertainty Looms

Producer sentiment increased for the second straight month in February, but producers continued to indicate uncertainty surrounding a possible U.S.withdrawal from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), according to the Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer.
