The Eastern Magistrates’ Court today convicted Ms Yan Ching Ching after she pleaded guilty to three counts of making false or misleading representations in support of her licence application to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

The Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm has found that XBT Provider AB (publ) (“XBT” or “the Company”) has breached Nasdaq Stockholm’s Rule Book for Issuers of warrants and certificates (“the Rule Book”) and other regulations in several respects and, accordingly, has imposed a fine on XBT amounting to SEK 1,000,000.

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or “the Exchange”) announced it has started using the Real-time Electronic Transfer of Funds and Securities System (“RENTAS”) for settlements of payments on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Clearing Berhad (BMDC). The change to RENTAS will ensure greater efficiency and resilience of the settlements payments mechanism.

Dalian Commodity Exchange Adjusts Positions Limits, Trading Limits And Trading Fee Rates For Relevant Futures

On July 20, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) issued the “Notice on Adjusting the Position Limits and Trading Limits for the Metallurgical Coke and Coking Coal Futures” and the “Notice on Adjusting the Trading Fee Rates for the Iron Ore and PP Futures”, so as to adjust the position limits and trading limits for the metallurgical coke and coking coal futures and reduce the intraday trading fee rates for the January, May and September Contracts of the iron ore and PP futures. In response to the clients’ requirement, this year, DCE has been assessing the position limits for the futures and the options and making adjustments to the position limits of the products based on the market situations, in order to better develop the futures market in Dalian City.
