EEX Sets New Trading Records In Skimmed Milk Powder Futures

On 7th September, the European Energy Exchange achieved a new daily record in Skimmed Milk Powder Futures, trading a total of 2,800 tonnes of goods equivalent. Furthermore, the exchange also set a new weekly record for Skimmed Milk Powder Futures, trading a total of 5,850 tonnes of goods equivalent.

New York State Department Of Financial Services Continues To Foster Responsible Growth In New York’s FinTech Industry With New Virtual Currency Product Approvals

Financial Services Superintendent Maria T. Vullo today announced that the Department of Financial Services (DFS) has authorized Gemini Trust Company LLC and Paxos Trust Company LLC and to each offer a price-stable cryptocurrency – commonly known as “stablecoin”– pegged to the U. S. dollar. As part of the approval of these new products, DFS has established required conditions to ensure that each trust company maintains robust policies and procedures to address risks and apply New York’s strong standards and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, anti-fraud, and consumer protection measures.

Office Of The Comptroller Of The Currency Reports Second Quarter 2018 Bank Trading Revenue

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) reported trading revenue of U.S. commercial banks and federal savings associations of $6.9 billion in the second quarter 2018, which was $1.3 billion, or 16.2 percent, lower than in the previous quarter.
