Digital Realty Commences Offering Of Pounds Sterling-Denominated Guaranteed Notes

Digital Realty (the "Company") (NYSE: DLR), a leading global provider of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions, announced today that Digital Stout Holding, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company's operating partnership, Digital Realty Trust, L.P. (the "Operating Partnership"), has commenced an offering of pounds sterling-denominated Guaranteed Notes (the "GBP Notes").  The GBP Notes will be senior unsecured obligations of Digital Stout Holding, LLC and will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by the Company and the Operating Partnership.

On 5 October 2018 the Treasury published a draft of the Markets in Financial Instruments (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018(link is external). This SI makes provision for temporary authorisations  for MIFID authorised EEA DRSPs to provide a data reporting service in the UK for a limited period after exit day, in the event there is no implementation period from the end of March 2019.

Shanghai Stock Exchange: WFE “Principles For Sustainable Exchanges” Officially Published

The World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) has published the “Principles for Sustainable Exchanges” (the Principles for short) on October 4. Its official publish will boost all exchanges in the world to serve the green development and realize the sustainable development of global economy on one hand, and will urge domestic exchanges to fulfill their social responsibilities and boost the green financial development in China on the other hand. Wu Qing, the then Chairman of the WFE Board of Directors and Vice Mayor of Shanghai, put forward the plan of “formulating the ‘Principles for Sustainable Exchanges’” at the WFE Board of Directors Meeting in January this year. Afterwards, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), as a chair member of the WFE, has taken the lead in formulating the Principles and set up a team with 5 WFE members (Brasil Bolsa Balcao, Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange, Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago and Borsa Istanbul) to implement the formulation task.

The end-of-September short interest represents 4.21 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.47 days for the prior reporting period.
