Shanghai Stock Exchange And Luxembourg Stock Exchange Start A New Chapter For Green Bond Info Channel

On the occasion of opening the Bo’ao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2019, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) signed a supplemental agreement for the Green Bond Info Channel Cooperation Agreement on March 27, 2019, and officially launched the eastward information display of green bonds. It offered a new model for the international cooperation in green finance in the capital market. SSE President Jiang Feng and LuxSE CEO Robert Scharfe signed the supplemental agreement on behalf of the two exchanges. Li Keqiang, Premier of China’s State Council, and Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, witnessed the signing ceremony.

DTCC Expands One-Stop Trade Reporting With New Eligibility Capabilities Provided By Droit

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, today announced that it is partnering with Droit, the leader in real-time transactional compliance, to enable market participants to leverage Droit’s reporting eligibility capabilities within DTCC’s Pre-Reporting Transformation Services for supported G20 regimes as well as the forthcoming Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR).

The Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) has received a new Shari’ah certification for its Shari’ah Compliant Spot Gold contract (DGSG). The Shari’ah Pronouncement (Fatwa) was issued by Minhaj Advisory, a leading Dubai-based Islamic advisory firm, and determined that DGSG meets all the necessary Shari’ah requirements in line with Islamic rules and principles.

UK Financial Conduct Authority And Australian Securities And Investments Commission Agree To Strengthen Cooperation Post-Brexit

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) today announced they have agreed two Memoranda of Understanding to ensure there is continuity once the UK leaves the European Union. The MoUs cover trade repositories and alternative investment funds (AIFs).
