SGX Enhances Its Fixed Income Business With New Leadership And Post Trade Role

In this role, Mark will be responsible for executing the strategy for SGX’s bond trading business, SGX Bond Pro, including driving institutional participation. Nearly 1,000 representatives of member units and relevant institutions from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and surrounding areas participated.

American Financial Exchange (AFX) Announces Record Month

American Financial Exchange (AFX), an electronic exchange for direct interbank lending and borrowing for American financial institutions, announced a record month of trading, with $11.75 billion traded across all products. The month of March had already seen a record day (with $735 million traded) and a record week (with $3.5 billion traded). AFX facilitates the determination of Ameribor®, a transaction-based interest rate benchmark for financial institutions via its electronic trading platform. Since opening, more than $128 billion cumulative has been successfully transacted.

Nasdaq Hosted 2nd Nasdaq International Designation Virtual Investor Conference

Nasdaq, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced the conclusion of its Nasdaq International Designation Virtual Investor Conference on March 21, 2018. Key Figures SIX Swiss Exchange: March 2018

March saw a high level of activity on SIX Swiss Exchange. Trading turnover was up by 1.8% on the prior month to CHF 125.9 billion, equating to an average turnover of CHF 6.0 billion per trading day. There was also an increase in the number of transactions, which climbed by 1.1% to 5,549,702. No less than three companies brought listings to the market in a space of just four working days, which marked the highest frequency of listings on the Swiss stock exchange since 2006. The listing of ASMALLWORLD took place on the 20th of the month, followed by Sensirion on 22 and Medartis on 23 March.
