- Ittai Ben Zeev, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange's CEO: “the Israeli economy's biggest missed opportunity is that, in less than a decade, $112 billion has “evaporated" from Israel due to companies having been sold rather than being turned into independent companies. It's high time that not just Bob Smith from Minnesota, but also Yael Cohen from Tel Aviv, profits from the success of Israeli innovation. The model of making a global offering in Tel Aviv enables Israeli companies and particularly high-tech companies, to benefit from an innovative capital-raising model and from exposure to international investors, while also ensuring that larger portions of the Israeli public will be partners in the growth of the economy".
