  • Broadridge Appoints Chris Perry President

    Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR), a global Fintech leader and part of the S&P 500® Index, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Chris Perry as President of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., effective March 2, 2020. Mr. Perry is assuming the title of President from Broadridge’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Gokey, who remains Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Company. Mr. Perry currently leads Broadridge’s Global Sales, Marketing and Client Solutions organization. Following this appointment, Mr. Perry will expand his current responsibilities to take a stronger role leading Broadridge’s top clients and partners, overseeing Broadridge International, and coordinating Broadridge’s overall growth strategy.

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) today announces the appointment of Ms Glenda So as Head of Post Trade.  Ms So will join HKEX on 25 February 2020 and report to HKEX Group’s Chief Executive, Mr Charles Li, and to HKEX Chief Operating Officer, Mr Calvin Tai.  She will be a member of the HKEX Management Committee.

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index at the end of January fell 4.2 percent from end-2019 to 1,514.14 points, while the average daily trading value of SET and Market for Alternative Investment (mai) in the first month of 2020 surged 18.4 percent from the average in 2019 to THB 62.99 billion (approx. USD 2.03 billion). Foreign investors cashed out a net THB 17.23 billion worth of Thai shares, the same direction as in most ASEAN markets.
