CFFEX Releases The Notice On The Pilot Program Of Commercial Banks Participating In China Government Bond Futures Trading

China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) releases the Notice on the Pilot Program of Commercial Banks Participating in China Government Bond Futures Trading (the “Notice”) together with 12 amended detailed implementation rules including the Measures of China Financial Futures Exchange on Membership Management, as well as the amended Guidelines of China Financial Futures Exchange on the Management of Futures-Company Member Qualifications. The amended rules and guidelines will take effect on March 9, 2020.

According to the relevant provisions of the “Securities Law of the People’s Republic of China” (hereinafter referred to as the “Securities Law”), the “Notice by the General Office of the State Council on the Work Concerning the Implementation of the Amended Securities Law” (No. 5[2020] of the General Office of the State Council, hereinafter referred to as the “State Council Notice”) and the “Notice on the Matters Concerning the Implementation of the Registration-based System for the Public Issuance of Corporate Bonds” (No. 14[2020] of the General Office of the China Securities Regulatory Commission), the registration-based system for the public issuance of corporate bonds will be implemented starting from March 1.

SEC Fee Rate Advisory #3 For Fiscal Year 2020

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Ohio-based pharmaceutical company Cardinal Health, Inc. has agreed to pay more than $8 million to resolve charges that it violated the books and records and internal accounting controls provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

BOX Exchange March Fee Change

Effective March 2, 2020, BOX Exchange LLC (“BOX” or the “Exchange”) is amending Section V of the BOX Fee Schedule (Eligible Orders Routed to an Away Exchange). 1 The Exchange will charge a $0.85 per contract fee for all Non-Penny Pilot Classes for customer accounts. All Penny Pilot Classes will continue to be charged the current $0.60 per contract fee for customer accounts.

S&P Dow Jones Indices Europe Dashboard

• The S&P Europe 350® struggled in the face of a broader global sell-off, as fears of the spread of coronavirus weighed on markets. 
• U.K. equities continued to lag their European counterparts, returning all of their gains from the past 12 months after a deeply negative performance in February. 
• Yields ticked down broadly, boosting most sovereign fixed income indices.  Italian sovereign bonds were a notable exception; the S&P Italy Sovereign Bond Index saw the largest decline amongst our selected European sovereign fixed income indices.
