The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has issued a restriction notice to Agg. Asset Management Limited (Agg) because of doubts over Agg’s reliability, integrity, and ability to carry on regulated activities competently, honestly and fairly, and hence, its fitness and properness to remain licensed.

Tokyo Stock Exchange To Launch Investor Transcript Service

SCRIPTS Asia Inc. ("SCRIPTS Asia", CEO: Erik Abbott), the leading provider of investor event coverage for Asia Pacific, and Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. ("TSE", President & CEO: Koichiro Miyahara), have concluded TSE's PoCprogram (*1) utilizing TSE's platform for delivery of listed company event transcripts to institutional investors (*2). As demonstrated through the PoC program, event transcripts and translations provided by SCRIPTS Asia contribute to reducing the information gap for both domestic and overseas investors, while also improving the efficiency of information availability at securities firms. As such, TSE will launch a new service from June 2020 to provide SCRIPTS Asia content. Additionally, TSE will coordinate with listed companies in Japan who are interested in having their investors events covered by SCRIPTS Asia.

Japan Financial Services Agency: BG2C Put Off Further To Be Rescheduled After Covid-19 Subsides

The Financial Services Agency, Japan and Nikkei Inc. have decided to further postpone the physical conference sessions of Blockchain Global Governance Conference (BG2C) and FIN/SUM Blockchain & Business (FIN/SUM BB) due to the current overspreading of novel coronavirus [Covid-19]. The event was scheduled for April 21-22.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Invites Bids For Underwriting The First CDB Discount Bond Of The Exchange To Ensure The Smooth Issuance Of Rate Securities During The Pandemic Prevention And Control

On April 1, China Development Bank (CDB) successfully issued the 2020 Discount Bonds (1st Tranche) through the financial bond issuing system of SZSE. It was the first attempt of CDB to issue discount bonds on the exchange market, which will further improve the product structure in the exchange bond market.
