SET Wins US-Based Fitwel Award, First In Asia And Outside North America

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has recently been awarded 3-star rating, the highest mark award recipients achieved in the 2019 assessment (version 2.1) which reflected how the design and management had effectively catered to the well-being of staff, users and visitors of SET’s building, from US-based Fitwel. The SET building becomes the first ever in Asia and outside North America to be rated with such ranking.

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced today it has officially launched its first Derivatives Market and a clearinghouse, The Securities Clearing Centre Company (Muqassa), both of which are running on Nasdaq’s (Nasdaq: NDAQ) market technology. The first exchange-traded derivatives product is MT30 Index Futures, an index futures contract based on the MSCI Tadawul 30 Index (MT30), which will benefit from central counterparty clearing by Muqassa.
