SIFMA Fixed Income Market Close Recommendation In The US, The UK And Japan For Presidents Day

SIFMA has confirmed its previous recommendation for a full market close on Monday, February 16 for the trading of U.S. dollar-denominated fixed income securities in the U.S., the U.K. and Japan in observance of the U.S. Presidents Day Holiday.

Federal Reserve: Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey On Bank Lending Practices

Survey of up to eighty large domestic banks and twenty-four U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks. The Federal Reserve generally conducts the survey quarterly, timing it so that results are available for the January/February, April/May, August, and October/November meetings of the Federal Open Market Committee. The Federal Reserve occasionally conducts one or two additional surveys during the year. Questions cover changes in the standards and terms of the banks' lending and the state of business and household demand for loans. The survey often includes questions on one or two other topics of current interest.

ACER Grants Regulators More Time To Decide On The Minimum Activation Period Of Frequency Containment Reserves Providers

On 3 December 2025, the national regulatory authorities (NRAs) of the Continental Europe Synchronous Area submitted to ACER a joint request for a six-month extension to decide on the transmission system operators’ (TSOs’) proposal. This concerned the minimum activation period that frequency containment reserve providers with limited energy reservoirs must ensure in order to remain available during the alert state.
