Bursa Malaysia Supporting Fight Against Covid-19 Pandemic - The Exchange To Contribute To The National Disaster Relief Trust Fund

In solidarity with efforts to ease the burden of fellow Malaysians affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Bursa Malaysia will contribute to the National Disaster Relief Trust Fund established under the Ministry of Finance to channel aid to disaster victims and cover expenses related to frontliners’ efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore Reprimands AIA Financial Advisers, Prudential, And Two Aviva Entities

MAS has reprimanded AIA Financial Advisers Private Limited (AIA FA), Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited (Prudential), Aviva Ltd (Aviva) and Aviva Financial Advisers Pte Ltd (Aviva FA) for breaches of requirements relating to risk management arrangements and the remuneration of supervisors. MAS also reprimanded Mr Peter Tan Shou Yi, a consultant engaged by Aviva, for accepting remuneration in breach of regulatory requirements, and Aviva FA’s CEO and Director, Mr Chee Boon Chai Lionel, for his failure to discharge the duties of his office.
