Tokyo Stock Exchange: Details Of Proof Of Concept Testing For HTML Disclosure Of Earnings Reports (Kessan Tanshin)

As previously announced, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) will start Proof of Concept (PoC) testing in conjunction with the upcoming replacement of TDnet scheduled for December 18, 2021, to enable disclosure in HTML format of listed companies* annual and quarterly earnings reports and listed REITs' annual and interim earnings reports (listed companies and listed REITs are hereinafter collectively referred to as “Listed Companies, etc.”) with the cooperation of PRONEXUS Inc. and TAKARA PRINTING CO., LTD. (in alphabetical order; hereinafter, the “Printing Companies.”)

Office Of The Comptroller Of The Currency Seeks Feedback On Principles For Climate-Related Financial Risk Management For Large Banks

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today requested feedback on draft principles designed to support the identification and management of climate-related financial risks at OCC-regulated institutions with more than $100 billion in total consolidated assets. The OCC will use this feedback to inform any future guidance with respect to climate-related financial risk.

Statement On The PCAOB’s Actions, SEC Chair Gary Gensler, Dec. 16, 2021

Today, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) designated China and Hong Kong as the jurisdictions where the PCAOB is not allowed to conduct full and complete audit inspections. The PCAOB has made these designations as mandated under the Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act of 2020 (HFCAA). Pursuant to each annual determination by the PCAOB, the SEC will, on an annual basis, identify issuers that have used non-inspected audit firms and thus are at risk of such suspensions in the future.
