Finansinspektionen has highlighted in multiple reports that many structured products are unsuitable for most consumers. In a new analysis, FI has analysed consumers’ investments in a type of structured product called autocalls. The analysis shows that autocalls are often expensive, associated with high risks, and difficult to understand. In many cases, these products are unprofitable for investors.

EEX Launches CBAM Reference Price To Support Transparency On Carbon Markets

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) launched the CBAM Reference Price, a new index, to drive further transparency for carbon pricing by providing guidance on price levels in a timely manner. The index has been developed to help companies assess the costs related to imports which will fall under the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) in 2026. The first index was published on 29 August and will be available subsequently every Friday at 13:00 CE(S)T.

The study, created by the sustainable finance experts at LuxSE and gender finance experts at 2X Global, analyses data on 576 outstanding sustainable bonds identified via the LGX DataHub, which allocate all or a portion of their proceeds to financing projects or set clear objectives that contribute to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
