Nadex Clarifies Fee Schedule

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex submitted notice to the Commission that is intends to clarify an amendment made to its Fee Schedule in its self-certification submission (number 2205-0917-2303-54), submitted on May 9, 2022. Nadex is amending language in the Fee Schedule to clarify that a successful initial deposit is required for Membership, however, the deposit need no the of any specified amount. This language reflects that of Nadex Rule 3.1(b) which was also amended in the same submission.

Yellen spoke today with recently-appointed Treasurer Jim Chalmers of Australia.  Secretary Yellen welcomed Australia’s strong partnership in holding Russia accountable for its illegal and unprovoked war against Ukraine. During the call, Secretary Yellen reaffirmed Treasury’s commitment to a robust U.S.-Australia economic relationship.   Secretary Yellen discussed working with Australia to advance common policy objectives, including strengthening supply chains to avoid costly disruptions for consumers, combatting climate change, and supporting a fairer, more resilient Indo-Pacific economy.  Secretary Yellen also welcomed the opportunity to continue working with Australia in key multilateral fora such as the G20 and Five Finance Ministers forum.

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex submitted notice to the Commission that Nadex’s Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines is being amended to remove reference to the Event Binary Contracts, which were delisted at the close of business on June 24, 2022. Amendments to the Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines will be effective July 11, 2022.
