  • Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Width

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased or decreased volatility, as the case may be, in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike widths of various contracts during the week of September 12, 2022 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

  • U.S. Department Of The Treasury Financial Stability Oversight Council Update

    On Friday, September 23, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will preside over a meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (Council) by videoconference.  The meeting will consist only of an executive session.  The preliminary agenda includes the Council’s report being prepared in response to the Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets; the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s upcoming review of the Federal Home Loan Bank System; the Council’s 2022 annual report; and the Council’s fiscal year 2023 budget.*

    The U.S. Department of the Treasury today released Treasury International Capital (TIC) data for July 2022.  The next release, which will report on data for August, is scheduled for October 18, 2022.

    The Bahama International Securities Exchange (BISX) wishes to announce that due to the Announcement by the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas that Monday, 19 September 2022 will be observed as a Public Holiday, the Exchange will be closed.

  • Nadex Amends Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex submitted notice to the Commission that Nadex’s Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines is being amended to remove reference to the FTSE 100® Call Spread and Binary Contracts, which were delisted at the close of business on September 16, 2022. Amendments to the Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines will be effective October 3, 2022.
