  • Shanghai Stock Exchange Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement With Aviation Industry Corporation Of China, Ltd.

    On November 3, 2022, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AVIC) held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement. Cai Jianchun, Deputy Party Secretary and President of SSE, and He Shengqiang, Party Member and Deputy General Manager of AVIC, witnessed the signing of the agreement and attended the forum. Liu Ti, Executive Vice President of SSE, Lu Guangshan, Secretary of Board of Directors and Chief Engineer of AVIC signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides.

    • Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 1.0% in October, up 0.5% on pcp. 
    • Future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in October was an average of 18.8, compared to 13.5 in the pcp.
