  • Shenzhen Stock Exchange And China Securities Depository And Clearing Corporation Release Bond Trading, Registration And Settlement Rules For Overseas Institutional Investors, Further Opening The Bond Market

    To put into practice the arrangements set forth in the Announcement by the People's Bank of China, China Securities Regulatory Commission and State Administration of Foreign Exchange [2022] No. 4 (Matters on Further Facilitating Overseas Institutional Investors to Invest in China's Bond Market), further facilitate overseas institutional investors to participate in bond trading and lift the opening level of Shenzhen bond market, on 29 June 2022, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) and China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (“CSDC”) jointly published the Implementation Rules of Shenzhen Stock Exchange and China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited for Bond Trading, Registration and Settlement Business for Overseas Institutional Investors, laying down specific arrangements for overseas institutional investors with approved access to the interbank bond market to participate in the bond market of Shenzhen.

  • Shenzhen Stock Exchange Approves The First CSI SEEE Carbon Neutral ETFs

    On June 28, CSI SEEE carbon neutral ETFs with four fund managers (namely, China Southern Asset Management, ICBC Credit Suisse, China Merchants Fund and Dacheng Fund) were approved. The issuance and listing of relevant products will soon be launched on SZSE. This is an important move by SZSE, together with the mutual fund industry, to conscientiously implement the national 14th Five-Year Plan, give full play to the role of market in resource allocation and promote the attainment of the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. It will further diversify the “dual carbon” fund sector of SZSE and channel market funds into the low-carbon and sustainable development fields.
