  • Nadex Amends Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex submitted notice to the Commission that Nadex’s Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines is being amended to remove reference to the FTSE 100® Call Spread and Binary Contracts, which were delisted at the close of business on September 16, 2022. Amendments to the Holiday Product Schedule Guidelines will be effective October 3, 2022.  

  • CME Group FX Futures And Options Reach New Volume And Open Interest Records

    CME Group, the world's leading derivatives marketplace, today announced its foreign exchange futures and options reached a new single-day volume record of 3 million contracts on Sept. 14, 2022. This was the first time CME Group FX futures and options traded more than 3 million contracts in a single day and was 7% higher than the previous record of 2.8 million contracts set on Dec. 3, 2020.

(“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), Nadex submitted notice to the Commission that Nadex will be delisting all of its FTSE 100 Variable Payout and Binary Contracts, effective as of the close of business on Friday, September 16, 2022.

    A total turnover of 719.398 million shares worth N8.004 billion in 17,444 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 949.819 million shares valued at N9.329 billion that exchanged hands last week in 18,525 deals.
