Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission To Launch Investor Identification Regime In March 2023

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today announced that the investor identification regime for the securities market in Hong Kong (HKIDR) (Note 1) will be launched on 20 March 2023.

Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) reported a total volume of 34,835,976 contracts with an average daily volume (ADV) of 1,583,453 contracts traded in November, an increase of 20.99% year-over-year (YoY). The two flagship products with newly-added bi-weekly contracts, Mini-TAIEX Futures and TAIEX Options, grew 42.91% YoY to 6,758,828 contracts and 38.56% YoY to 19,834,814 contracts in their respective monthly volumes, while TAIEX Futures increased 29.52% YoY to 3,561,292 contracts.
