The Palestine Securities Exchange has witnessed significant growth records during the months of January and February of 2000 compared to the same period in 1999. The growth percentages in volume of shares traded, turnover value, number of transactions, and number of sessions were 1394% , 674%, and 147% respectively, moreover the market capitalization growth percentage was 56%.

Eurex Discontinues Trading in Options On CONF Futures

Eurex, the European derivatives market, will discontinue trading in options on the CONF future (future on a notional eight-to-13-year bond of the Swiss federal government) as of the March 24, 2000 expiration date. Trading in the products will be blocked for all expiration dates up to the time of the actual delisting, since there are no longer any more open positions. No new series will be introduced.
CHX Continues Record-Breaking Pace In February

The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) continued to outpace last year's trade and share volume as it posted record-breaking numbers again in February. Total share volume finished at 2,037,287,188, up 130 percent from February 1999. Total trade volume increased 171 percent from last February, ending at 5,120,653.
