  • Program Trading Averaged 15.9 Percent Of NYSE Volume During Feb. 7 - Feb. 11

    The New York Stock Exchange today released its weekly program-trading data submitted by its member firms. The report includes trading in all markets as reported to the NYSE for Feb. 7 - Feb. 11. The data indicated that during Feb. 7 - Feb. 11, program trading amounted to 15.9 percent of NYSE average daily volume of 1,026.0 million shares, or 162.9 million shares a day.

  • Nymex To Increase Propane Margins

    The New York Mercantile Exchange yesterday announced that as of the close of business today (Thursday February 17) it will increase the margins on its propane futures contract to $1,900 from $1,400 for clearing members; to $2,090 from $1,540 for members; and from $2,565 from $1,890 for customers.

  • Nymex To Increase Palladium Margins

    The New York Mercantile Exchange today announced that as of the close of business today (Thursday February 17) it will increase the margins on its palladium futures contract to $6,500 from $5,000 for clearing members; to $7,150 from $5,500 for members; and from $8,775 from $6,750 for customers.

    The Nasdaq Stock Market® announced today that it welcomed the decision of the board of directors of Aeroflex, Inc. (NYSE:ARX) to switch the listing of its equities from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq. The switch will be effective on March 21, 2000, and the company will trade under the symbol Nasdaq:ARXX.
