According to a decision by the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse, the shares of Bonifatius Hospital & Senioren Residenzen AG, Brüder Mannesmann AG, Porta Systems AG as well as RSE Grundbesitz und Beteiligungs AG will be dropped from the SDAX effective June 19, 2000. RSE has block ownership of 95 percent, which exceeds the maximum permissible limit of 80 percent. Charles Vermeulen Appointed Director Of AEX-Information Technology B.V.

Charles Vermeulen (57) has been appointed interim director of AEX-Information Technology B.V. with effect from May 4. Mr Vermeulen, who is currently employed at CMG, is taking over the responsibilities of Jan Willem van Doorn. The management of AEX-Information Technology B.V. will focus on preparing the company for the merger of the Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris exchanges.
