A total of 413.9 billion euros in equities, warrants and fixed-income securities was traded on the German stock exchanges in August. This is an increase of about 9 Percent compared to last years figures (August 99: 379 billion euros). The turnover statistics show that the total comprises 296.6 billion euros in equities, warrants and exchange-traded funds and 117 billion euros in fixed-income securities.
