The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that volume in equity options averaged over 525,000 contracts per day in the month of November, garnering a market share of 14.1%. This represents the fourth consecutive month of market share growth for the PHLX. The 9,977,867 equity options contracts traded in November represent an increase of 39.6% in volume and 9.4% in market share over the same period a year ago. Nymex: Position Limit Rules Amended For Aluminum And Copper Futures; Reporting Levels Changed For Gold, Silver, And Copper Options

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., has increased the position limit on spot month aluminum contracts, increased the minimum size of the spot month position limit in copper futures, and adjusted the large trader reporting levels for the gold, silver, and copper options contracts to reflect the same levels as the related futures contracts.
