New Legislation To Regulate UK Financial Services Authority Access To Communications Data

The Government has laid a Parliamentary Order that lists the Financial Services Authority as one of a number of public authorities whose access to information known as "communications data" from providers of communications services will be regulated under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA). Marking its 10th anniversary, the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania (NSEL) held a conference in Vilnius "Accession of the Lithuanian Capital Market to the Single Market of the EU". About 300 people attended the conference including representatives from brokerage firms, capital market institutions from Lithuania and abroad, Federation of European Stock Exchanges as well as listed companies at the NSEL.
