    The index for October 2005 closed at 15616.65 points compared with 15036.04 for September 2005 with an increase of 3.86%. It reached its highest historical point as it hit 15616.65 by 31/10/2005 setting its new benchmark. Year to-date, the index increased by 90.3%.

  • OneChicago Reports 426% Increase In October Volume, Up 171% YTD

    OneChicago, LLC today reported that 586,007 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in October, 426% higher than October 2004 volume. The average daily volume in October was 27,905. Year-to-date volume is up 171%. Open interest stood at 1,126,565 contracts on Oct. 31 after reaching a record 1,463,819 on Oct. 21.
