Eisen, previously elected to Instinet Group's Board of Directors effective May 19, 2004, has decided not to join the Instinet Group Board as a result of conflicts which might jeopardize her "independence" status on other boards in which she participates.

Euronext Introduces Reward Scheme For Active Orders In Dutch Securities - Special Discount During The European Football Championships

Euronext today announces the launch of a special incentive scheme. At a time of competition, both in sport and in financial markets, Euronext will be rewarding active traders in the market – the “strikers” of the trade. Euronext is waiving its full fee of 30 eurocents charged on active orders in all Dutch securities. On top of this, customers will also receive a 3 eurocent credit for every active order. The offer will apply from Monday 24 May until the end of July.

The Annual General Meeting of Deutsche Börse AG announced Wednesday the distribution of a dividend of € 0.55 per share for fiscal year 2003 i.e. 25 percent higher than last year. €61.5 million of the €135 million net profit is to be distributed, up 25 percent on 2002.
CME Sets June 6 Launch Date For Fertilizer Futures And Options Contracts

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced it would launch trading in its new fertilizer futures and options on futures contracts on Sunday, June 6 at 5 p.m. Central time. The contracts, based on three of the most commonly used varieties of fertilizer, will trade exclusively on CME’s GLOBEX® electronic trading platform.
