Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Adjustment Of Futures And Options Contracts On Group 4 Falck A/S

On 24 February 2004, Group 4 Falck A/S and Securicor plc announced that it had been agreed to demerge Group 4 Falck A/S into the companies Group 4 A/S and Falck A/S. Subsequently, Group 4 A/S will be merged with Securicor plc and found the company Group 4 Securicor plc. Falck A/S and Group 4 A/S will be listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, whereas Group 4 Securicor plc will be listed on both the London Stock Exchange and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

CFTC’s Agricultural Advisory Committee To Meet Wednesday, July 21, 2004

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) will hold its 30th meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Commission’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21st Street, N.W., in the first floor hearing room. The meeting will be conducted by Chairman James E. Newsome and Commissioner Walt Lukken, who serve, respectively, as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Committee, and will be open to the public.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Pursuant to quarterly rebalancing methodology, Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index effective after the close of trading on Friday, July 16, 2004. As of the close of trading on Thursday, July 8, 2004, the index was comprised of 494 companies. A total of 40 companies will be removed from the index and 85 new companies will be added. The revised index will therefore be made up of 539 companies.
